Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before participating in Grand Theft ArmA.

Effective date: 1 March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering on, or playing on any Grand Theft ArmA (“Grand Theft ArmA”, “GTA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) game servers, websites, forums, or related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease all use of our Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Services. By using the Services you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. If you are under 18 years of age, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Account Registration and Security

Some features of the Services require you to register an account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering.
  • Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
  • Not sell, transfer, or otherwise share your account with any other person.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the Services in a fair, respectful, and lawful manner. The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:

  • Harassing, threatening, abusing, or intimidating other players or staff members.
  • Using cheats, hacks, exploits, modified clients, or any unauthorised third-party software to gain an unfair advantage.
  • Engaging in real-money trading of in-game items, currency, or accounts outside of our official shop.
  • Impersonating GTA staff members, other players, or any real person or organisation.
  • Attempting to disrupt, overload, crash, or degrade the performance of our servers or services, including DDoS attacks.
  • Posting, sharing, or transmitting content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise harmful or offensive.
  • Circumventing, evading, or assisting others in evading active bans or other disciplinary actions.
  • Engaging in organised griefing, targeted harassment campaigns, or coordinated rule-breaking.

Violations are enforced according to our server rules, which are published separately at grandtheftarma.com/rules and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. In-Game Purchases and Virtual Items

We may offer virtual items, membership tiers, and other digital goods for purchase through our official shop. All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Key points to be aware of:

  • Virtual items and membership benefits have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real-world currency.
  • We reserve the right to modify, rebalance, remove, or discontinue any virtual item or feature at any time without prior notice or compensation.
  • Membership benefits are tied to your account and are non-transferable.
  • Purchases are not refunded in the event of account termination or suspension due to rule violations.

6. Intellectual Property

All original content produced by GTA Roleplay — including but not limited to server scripts, website design, logos, graphics, artwork, and documentation — is the intellectual property of GTA Roleplay and its contributors. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

Grand Theft ArmA operates within the ArmA 3 game platform published by Bohemia Interactive. We make no claim to any intellectual property owned by Bohemia Interactive or any other third party.

7. Termination and Bans

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms, our server rules, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Account termination may be carried out without prior notice. Terminated or banned users are not entitled to any refund of purchases made prior to termination.

Appeal processes for bans are handled through our official Discord server and website, as described in our server rules.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from loss of data. Server downtime, resets, or data loss may occur at any time, and we accept no liability for such events.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GTA Roleplay and its staff, volunteers, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Services — including but not limited to loss of virtual items, account data, or gameplay progress.

10. Modifications to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and may announce changes via our Discord server. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
